Staying at this luxury serviced apartment felt like a mix of cozy student accommodation and top-notch amenities. The rooms are spacious and modern, equipped with a kitchen that has everything you need for a continental breakfast. However, some aspects may not fully match the luxury branding.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms are large, modern, and can be arranged as twin beds or a king size. The fully equipped kitchen is great for breakfast needs.
Service

The staff was very helpful and guided us around the area, although we had to call for entry codes. Nonetheless, their friendliness made up for it.

7.8/10
Staying at the Kensington Apartments was a mixed experience. The location was excellent, with free onsite parking as a huge bonus, making it feel like a home away from home after a day's work. However, the room setup, being across the road from the main hotel, was more suitable for groups or friends rather than individual guests, and being in a basement brought some challenges, especially for luxury expectations and sleeping arrangements for four people.
Rooms
7.0
The room arrangement across the road from Kensington Apartments felt more geared towards groups or friends rather than separate hotel rooms. The basement location posed challenges for a luxurious experience and sleeping arrangements for four people.
Service
8.0
The service was pleasant, with a welcoming and friendly night shift manager. The mix of hotel and self-catering options in a convenient location with helpful staff added value to the stay.
Location
9.0
The location of the Kensington Apartments was top-notch, just a 10-minute walk to the city center and opposite a Metro station, making it feel like a welcoming 'home' after a day's work. The free onsite parking was a huge bonus for guests.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience varied, as after expressing concerns, we received a £15 discount, yet had to find our own breakfast. The inclusion of breakfast in the stay was a plus, including croissants and real milk.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities offered a mix of conveniences, including dry cleaning and laundry services, adding to the overall value of the stay.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding at As You Like it in Jesmond. The apartment was perfect with a dining table, a nice kitchen, and even Sky TV. I would definitely book an apartment again. The location was ideal, with just a 5-minute walk to the center, and the staff went above and beyond to help us plan our weekend in Newcastle. The dining experience was a delightful surprise with modern design and lovely touches like croissants and real milk. The facilities were top-notch, making our stay truly enjoyable.
Rooms
